Dallas - David & Catherine's Wedding

On Saturday June 3rd, my friend David got married in Dallas, TX. I was honoured to be one of the groom's men. My trip started on Friday morning very early, where I flew from LAX to DFW, arriving at 1 pm. At around 5 pm we met at the church for rehersal. Friday night was BBQ at David's parents' restaurant... yummy chinese cousine and great wine. The big day, the groom and his men went to kill some time playing pool (Kurt killed most of us instead) and then we headed back to the church. We dressed up, picted up and waited and waited and the Pool King(TM) took a brief nap after a math challenge left him exhausted. The ceremony went flawless. Everybody looked at their best. Nobody fainted although I heard of a couple of shoulders badly hurting... Later that night, everybody headed to the reception where David and Catherine danced for all of us. We had great food, good music and lots of fun. Then of course, Husband & Wife left for the night to a more comfortable place... ehem... I speak for all when I wish them the best of success in the times to come. You both work very hard and surely deserve it. Now, in the underground parking lot of the reception building, at 113 degrees Fahrenheit, there's still a loud and resounding echo bouncing off the walls, saying... 'Who *** **** was that fat guy?'.
